The day begins with homage paid to fallen soldiers at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate.The highlight is the Republic Day parade in Delhi, showcasing India's military strength, diverse cultures, and achievements. Colorful floats representing different states add to the festivities.Schools and communities organize flag hoisting ceremonies, cultural programs, and discussions on democracy and citizenship. Sridas International School proudly celebrated Independence Day on August 15th with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The celebration began at 9:00 AM with a cultural program that showcased the talents and creativity of our students. The event was filled with vibrant performances that honored the spirit of freedom and unity. The highlight of the morning was the flag hoisting ceremony, where our esteemed Principal, Mr. Rohit Singh, had the honor of hoisting the national flag. As the tricolor soared high, the entire school echoed with the national anthem, filling everyone with pride and respect for our country. The cultural program that followed featured a variety of performances, including traditional dances, patriotic songs, and skits that depicted the rich history and heritage of India. The students, along with their teachers, put in tremendous effort to make this day memorable for everyone present.
